Amcor Flexibles continues expansion in China
Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific has expanded its footprint in China to a total of 10 manufacturing plants, with the acquisition of Zhongshan Tiancai Packaging Company.
Located in the Guangdong province of Southern China, Zhongshan Tiancai Packaging Company consists of one manufacturing plant specialising in printing and manufacturing multilayer films for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets.
Ralf K Wunderlich, president of Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific, said the acquisition is testament to the company’s commitment to growth in China and provides the opportunity for Amcor to build its product offering.
