The machine uses a new transfer technology for decorating containers with high-quality images. The images are pre-printed on a Xeikon printer at 1200 dpi on rolled-up silicon paper. The rolls are then used by the machine to transfer the high-quality images onto the containers plastic substrate. This transfer is achieved by a combination of heat, pressure and synchronisation.
