Chr Hansen has launched the ColorFruit range of natural reds which show an improvement in stability to light and heat.

ColorFruit is a blend of anthocyanins developed to obtain four new shades of appealing red to violet and purple in beverages. All ColorFruit products are anthocyanins or natural colours derived from edible fruit and vegetables. The product is developed by optimising properties of different anthocyanins to specific conditions.

Using technology to optimise intermolecular relationships between relevant anthocyanins molecules to selected stability conditions improves stability and so allows extensive application range in acidic conditions such in beverages, low or non ascorbic acid beverages, fruit preparations, confectionery and water ice.

With ColorFruit users can create products with longer shelf life due to an improved stability to light, heat and ascorbic acid. Four vibrant red shades are available.

ColorFruit is SO2 free and Kosher as well as being produced according to ISO 9001:2000 standards.
