Lab scale blender

Matcon has announced the launch of a new laboratory IBC blending system.

The Matcon Laboratory IBC Blending System is designed to blend powders in small IBC's from 2 to 300 litres capacity. The geometry of the IBC's & blending speed & time is similar to that of larger production IBC's, making the Laboratory Blender suitable for easy & repeatable scale-up.

The blender is a stand-alone, floor-mounted unit, incorporating a single rotating cantilever shaft onto which may be placed a series of interchangeable IBC's for blending.

Matcon blenders are widely used throughout the food & pharmaceutical industries, as a way to increase productivity & production flexibility.

With the introduction of the Laboratory IBC Blending System, Matcon's blending range now caters for IBC volumes of 2 to 3000 litre capacity.
