Key Technology online training program for Manta sorters

Key Technology has introduced an online training program for Manta sorters. With this addition, Key’s program now covers all Key G6 sorters - Optyx, Tegra and Manta - as well as ADR Automatic Defect Removal systems and Iso-Flo vibratory conveyors.

This interactive, multimedia curriculum helps processors expand the knowledge of employees to better operate equipment at peak performance to optimise product quality and maximise equipment uptime while minimising training costs.

The training program for Manta includes nine modules that cover various hardware-related topics of interest to operators, maintenance personnel, sanitation crews, supervisors and others. Additional training modules that cover software and G6 user interface topics, which pertain to Manta as well as other G6 sorters and ADR systems, have been available since the company introduced its first set of training modules in 2008.

Training modules are also available on a variety of industry compliance topics, including safety and health, HACCP, human resources compliance, DOT hazmat and environmental management.

Users can access every Key training module for one subscription price to educate an unlimited number of employees. Alternatively, the program is available for a single student to access a set course.

Each self-paced module is designed to take less than 20 minutes to complete. A short test verifies the material is understood and full reporting is delivered via the learning management system (LMS) to facilitate record keeping and provide proof of compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
