Advantech has released the Adam-4019+, an eight-channel universal analog input module that includes a 4-20 mA input range and burnout detection function to detect sensor failure.

The major feature of the device is its ability to mix input ranges. This supports individual configuration for each channel, saving costs and space where multiple inputs are required.

Its 4-20 mA input range is suitable for analog and current control devices in industrial automation applications.

Other input ranges including ±10 V, mV and thermocouple are all integrated into the Adam-4019+.
