UK opportunities for Australian food companies

Representatives from a UK-based distributor, which supplies Sainsbury's supermarkets, is in Australia this month and is keen to meet Australian food producers.

NFIS Ltd has organised a series of workshops to allow food producers and the distributor to discuss the supply chain process to the UK. The workshops are part of the NFIS Ltd/Austrade platform to launch a range of Australian-positioned lifestyle food and beverage products into a major UK supermarket later this year. Workshops are being held in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne. Other UK distributors have also been invited to visit Australia.
