Leading the Aust Beverages Council
At the Australian Beverages Council's annual general meeting President Andrew Dawson (Cadbury Schweppes) was re-elected to lead the Council for the coming year.
Vice-Presidents Brad van Dijk (PepsiCo), Geoff Walsh (Coca-Cola) and Hon Treasurer Arthur Shelley were also re-elected. Bruce Herbert (CCA) and Phil Browne (Fosters) were newly elected to the Board.
Other re-elected members are - Mark Cowsill (Frucor), Ian Turner (Saxbys), John McLean (Bundaberg), Angelo Kotses (Bickfords) and Peter Sullivan (Beaudesert).
The meeting voted by acclamation to thank long-serving retiring Board member, Arthur Mitropoulos (Cadbury Schweppes). Also retiring from the Board this year were Peter Kelly (CCA) and Steve Little (CCSP).
