DSL manager for New Zealand

DSL Packaging - the Australian manufacturers of Schutz Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) - has appointed Paul Logan as the business manager to run its existing New Zealand operations.

Operating from premises in Auckland, Mr Logan is set to service both the north and south islands as the company continues to expand into the growing IBC market across New Zealand.

Since establishing DSL Packaging NZ more than 12 months ago, the company has focused on meeting growing demand for its products, in response to the worldwide industry trend to convert from the traditional 44 gallon steel drums to more efficient forms of packaging, such as Schutz IBCs.

Schutz IBCs are one cubic metre, reusable and designed for packaging liquid products. The units have UN approval for packaging dangerous goods in groups II and III.

They consist of a heavy-duty polyethylene blow-moulded inner bottle, surrounded by a steel cage, which is mounted on either a metal, plastic or wooden pallet for easy handling.
