Humidification for Life is the Carel website entirely dedicated to humidification. Using the resources of the humidification section of the Carel corporate site, Humidification for Life provides information and services to help understand and resolve the problems resulting from incorrect relative humidity.

The site includes a large section with information that is presented in a simple fashion, as well as more detailed information for professionals.

The site dedicates space to applications, helping understand the most appropriate humidification system to satisfy different requirements. Around 30 applications are analysed, sorted into four groups: industrial, process, comfort and wellness applications. In this way it can assist in the correct selection of air humidification for applications such as printing facilities, wine cellars, high-tech industries, textiles, museums, hospitals and wellness centres.

Special attention is given to descriptions of different humidification technologies and a straightforward table compares the pluses and minuses of each different technology.

The site also provides a free link to humiTools, the Carel software for sizing and selecting humidifiers for professionals. This user-friendly program can be used to identify which humidifiers are compatible with the specifications of the installation being planned. Having chosen the most suitable humidifier, the design data is summarised, together with the psychrometric chart, written technical specifications and a list of documents available online; in addition, users can list the required accessories (steam distributors, probes, etc), print the sizing data, save it and request a quotation from the nearest Carel representative.
