Global packaging solutions supplier, tna has won the title ‘Australia’s Most Successful Business Trading Overseas’ in the 2011 prestigious ANZ Business Review Weekly Private Business Awards. The award was presented at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth Hotel, among the country’s leading private businesses, in recognition of tna’s outstanding international success.

Now in its fourth year, the ANZ BRW Private Business Awards celebrates entrepreneurship and leadership in the private sector, recognising industry leaders for their valuable contribution to the Australian economy. The judging panel of industry and academic experts announced tna as winner of the ‘overseas trading’ category. tna generates 95% of annual revenue from overseas, has 24 offices around the world and has, to-date, installed over 6,000 food packaging solutions in 120 countries.

The company fought off competition from Cockram Corp, Craig Mostyn Group and Transtar International Freight to land the award.

On receipt of the award, tna's CEO Alf Taylor commented "This is a fantastic achievement. Our international business has grown rapidly and deliberately into geographically dispersed markets, yet we are proud to still foster the close-knit tna culture we created back in our 1982 beginnings. As well as external verification of our achievements, this award is testament to the entire tna team's dedication and strong customer focus.”

The company’s long-term business plan emphasises innovation, with various new products in the pipeline. Focusing on further expanding its product range and reach, tna acquired British-based leading seasoning and cutting systems supplier Arcall earlier in the year.
