Taiyo enters Australian market

Ingredient Resources has been appointed master agent for Australia and New Zealand by Taiyo Kagaku Co Ltd of Japan.

Taiyo is a leader in nanotechnology emulsion systems, which primarily covers the food, beverage and alternative healthcare industries. Taiyo focuses on a select range of value-added innovative functional ingredients which are not only covered by worldwide patents but are supported in nearly all cases with credible clinical data.

Taiyo recently commissioned a new plant in India for production of Sunfiber (soluble dietary fibre) with an initial capacity of 4000 tonnes per annum. As well, they are now significant producers of Green Tea specialty products.

More recently, Taiyo released NDS (Nutrition Delivery System). This technology enables specific functional ingredients to deliver key nutritional benefits without typical formulation concerns such as off flavour and colour, instability, irritability and low bio availability. The NDS incorporates emulsification, stabilisation and dispersion technology to deliver functional ingredients such as minerals, vitamins, green tea polyphenols and Pufa to designated parts of the human body.
