Sullair Australia has extended the operational area of Remtron Automation, one of its principal distributors.

Since May 2009, Remtron has been responsible for sales and servicing of Sullair solutions across the Albury-Wodonga region. The new agreement will see Remtron taking care of a larger region, encompassing the Riverina region of NSW.

“Remtron is a great example of this distributor relationship at its best and has been a real success story since the inception of the partnership,” said Louie Hatzikosmidis, Sullair’s Regional Sales Manager for South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.

“Remtron provides coverage and support to our end users in an area of the country that would be difficult for us to service to the same degree. Remtron are in effect an extension of the Sullair team, allowing us to better meet the needs of all our customers.”

Remtron’s area of responsibility extends from an office in Albury west to Echuca, south to Wangaratta, north to Griffith and east to the western side of the Snowy Mountains. The company promotes Sullair’s compressed air solutions to its existing customer base and is able to offer a much wider service, covering a broad spectrum of automation requirements, to Sullair’s existing end users in the area.

“It’s a real win-win scenario,” said Hatzikosmidis. “Through Remtron’s expertise in automation and process control solutions, end users of Sullair’s compressors now have a single point of contact for all their automation needs.”

Remtron also services Sullair equipment and employs a Sullair-trained Sales/Product Manager and two full-time Sullair-trained field service technicians. Remtron also has a local holding of genuine Sullair spares and parts.

“Having a local representative means that end users enjoy a swifter response for both sales and servicing enquiries,” said Hatzikosmidis. “Remtron are able to deliver enhanced emergency protection as they can attend local businesses far more quickly than Sullair would be able to achieve itself. It is paramount to us that our end users get the best and most cost-effective level of service possible.”

“Remtron are achieving unparalleled results, and we are happy to work with them as they continue to grow from strength to strength.”
