PBI-Dansensor, a leading supplier of quality assurance equipment for the modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) industry, is changing its name and logo to reflect a change of ownership.

The company will now be known simply as Dansensor and has adopted a new logo - a red arch that symbolises a gauge to represent its expertise in measurement technology.

Dansensor was acquired by US company MOCON in April 2012. MOCON is a leading supplier of permeation testing instruments, package integrity solutions and consulting services to research laboratories, production facilities and quality control departments across a range of industries worldwide.

“This is an exciting time for Dansensor,” said Sales and Marketing Director Karsten Kejlhof. “We have made a small change to our name and will continue to provide the high level of service and technological innovation that has earned us our reputation as one of the world’s leading companies in modified atmosphere packaging.

“Not only will we continue to innovate and deliver new solutions, but by teaming up with MOCON we will be able to offer an even wider range of products and services,” Kejlhof said.
