RS Components and SMC Corporation extend partnership into ANZ

Electronics and maintenance product distributor RS Components has extended its global partnership with pneumatics and automation specialist SMC Corporation into Australia and New Zealand.

The agreement will see RS Components offer 4600 SMC products in Australia and New Zealand. More than 2200 of these products will be stocked locally in Australia to facilitate next-day delivery. Further SMC pneumatics products will be added to the ANZ range in the coming years.

The range will include actuators, fittings, filters, regulators, lubricators, tubing, control valves, blow guns, silencers, pressure gauges and flow control equipment.

Customers will have instant access to SMC products through the RS Components eCommerce platform, where they can view product models in 3D and place orders. In addition to web orders, RS Components also offers fax and phone ordering services.

“Extending our partnership in ANZ benefits both companies, as we get to broaden our offer to Australian mining and related industries, and SMC extend their reach to customers in the region through our various supply channels,” said Simon Pullinger, Head of Product Management - Maintenance in Australia for RS Components.

With this agreement, the RS Components and SMC Corporation partnership now extends globally, covering the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia and Oceania.
