Powder handling seminar in NZ

A series of Australasian seminars designed to meet the learning needs of the powder handling and processing industries will head to New Zealand in May.

The PowderHandling one-day seminar will be held in Auckland on 24 May and includes guest speakers selected for a combination of their industry knowledge and their expertise in a specialist field.

The preliminary program includes the following presentations:

  • Introduction to powder handling technologies
  • Bulk solids testing
  • Silo and hopper design
  • Discharging difficult-to-manage products
  • Basic concepts for mixing and batching plants
  • Product sampling/testing - importance and methods
  • Pneumatic conveying technology

The New Zealand seminar follows the first Australasian seminar held on 28 February in Sydney. Further seminars are planned for Melbourne and Perth. For more details, visit www.powderhandling.com.au.
