NZ names IBEX ‘supreme exporter’

Thursday, 22 November, 2007

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise have awarded specialist manufacturer and technology provider IBEX Supreme Exporter of the Year and Specialised Manufacturing Exporter of the Year at the New Zealand Export Awards.

The award was given in recognition of the company’s exponential export growth over the last three years and their strong strategic market development strategy.

The awards showcase the success of innovative companies that strategically achieve high export growth and foreign market development. The awards were given even more significance with Export Year 07 — a government-led initiative aiming to raise export awareness and build export capability within New Zealand.

The awards cap off a great year for IBEX that included the launch of two products: a fully integrated product freezing and sorting system and the low-voltage high-speed trimming system.

“Winning the Supreme Exporter of the Year award is a great achievement and recognition for IBEX,” said Jonathan Engle, managing director of IBEX Technologies.

“The calibre of finalists was very high and is a testament to the breadth and depth of innovation and creativity in the New Zealand market place.&rdqu
