The Minister for Fair Trading will officially open AUSPACK PLUS 2013, the largest biennial packaging and processing machinery and materials exhibition in Australia.

The Honourable Anthony Roberts MP will open the show with APPMA Chairman Mark Dingley at 9.00 am on Tuesday 7 May at the Sydney Showground.

“With 307 exhibitors and over 1100 brands represented under one roof, AUSPACK PLUS is the largest show of its kind and is a true indication of how extensive the packaging and processing machinery and materials industry is in this country,” said event organiser Luke Kasprzak.

“We have 76 international exhibitors coming this year and together with 231 Australian exhibitors they will showcase new and exciting innovations and solutions to all trade visitors attending the show.

“The owners of AUSPACK PLUS, the APPMA, are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and they should be proud that they have continued to grow the exhibition over the last three decades. Having the Honourable Anthony Roberts to officially open AUSPACK PLUS is apt for this special anniversary year for the APPMA.”

“The NSW Liberals & Nationals Government is committed to encouraging a strong and innovative packaging and processing sector and I look forward to opening the event, which showcases the latest technology the industry has to offer,” Roberts said.
