Marel nets Stork acquisition

Marel Food Systems has entered an EU$415 million agreement to acquire the Stork Food Systems division of Stork N.V.

Marel expects the acquisition to double its revenues and strengthen the platform for further internal growth and profitability.

The acquisition is viewed as an important step towards achieving Marel’s target of becoming one of the leading global innovators of food processing equipment.
