Intertek Cantox opens new office in Beijing
Intertek Cantox’s Food and Nutrition Group has announced that it will be expanding its food regulatory services in Asia, opening a new office in Beijing.
The company said its new office will provide “ready access to on-the-ground support in China, as well as regulatory expertise for neighbouring Asian markets” for its clients. It will be a crucial point of call for food manufacturers hoping to break into the Chinese market as a source of advice on conforming to Chinese regulatory requirements.
The office will be headed by Sandy Lin, an expert in food and feed regulations with many useful contacts within Chinese regulatory agencies.
