Fuchs acquires worldwide food-grade lubricants

Fuchs Petrolub AG has acquired the worldwide food-grade lubricants business from Shell International Petroleum.

Within the Fuchs group, Fuchs Lubritech is responsible for the sales and marketing of food-related products, which will include the Cassida, Sugar Mill Clear and FM product lines.

Fuchs has acquired the brand names as well as the product technology for all product lines, and they will continue to be available without any changes in quality or product names.

The company has focused its activities in high-performance and specialty lubricants within the Fuchs Lubritech Group.

With the addition of the product line, the company will have a comprehensive range of food-grade lubricants for all applications in the food-related business.
