CEO CookOff

Monday, 06 February, 2012

Over 100 CEOs will trade in their suits for aprons at the inaugural CEO CookOff on 6 February. An initiative of OzHarvest and Qantas, the CookOff will raise much-needed funds for OzHarvest and Mission Australia.

29 celebrity chefs will join forces with the CEOs to raise awareness of food security and homelessness. To date, over $800,000 has been donated to the cause.

The CEO CookOff takes place at Cathedral Square in Sydney city and features high-profile chefs such as Maggie Beer, George Calombaris, Peter Gilmore and Guillaume Brahimi.

OzHarvest is a Sydney charity that collects excess food from restaurants, retailers, food outlets and corporate kitchens and delivers it to charities that feed those in need. By reallocating food, OzHarvest helps charities reduce their food budget while saving good food from going to waste.
