AIP National Conference to host 34 speakers

Thirty-four guest speakers from nine countries will present at the 2012 Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) National Conference. The conference, held over 14-15 June at Surfers Paradise, is open to both members and non-members of the AIP and is ideal for those in the food, beverage, manufacturing and packaging industries.

Keynote speakers include: Terry O’Brien, Managing Director, Simplot; Rick Fox, Chairperson of the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI); Peter Alison, General Manager of Brandpack; David Carter, Director of Environmental Strategy and Sustainability, Lion; Rachel Bermingham; and Thomas Schneider, President of the World Packaging Organisation.

The conference will feature 12 international speakers, including: Morten Torngaard, PBI Dansensor; Erwink Vink, NatureWorks; Maxence Vanderlynden, Sidel; and Andy Sweetman, European Bioplastics Association.
