2010 Australian Supply Chain & Logistics Awards celebrates 50 years

Tuesday, 09 March, 2010

The Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) has announced that the 50th anniversary Australian Supply Chain and Logistics (ASCL) Awards will be held at the Crystal Palace, Luna Park, Sydney, on Thursday 28 October.

The ASCL Awards Chairman Vince Aisthorpe says the 2010 awards will return to the traditional black tie format, widely requested by industry participants, and appropriate in marking the ASCLA’s 50-year history of the SCL industry Awards in Australia.

“The ASCL Awards is the longest running national awards program in the industry and the SCLAA is extremely proud of its 50-year history. They are  designed to recognise high achievement by individuals and companies in this diverse industry and to acknowledge the innovative projects that are being carried out every day in all parts of Australia. The program allows nomination of suppliers, business partners, companies or people who work for them and publically recognises their efforts,” Aisthorpe said.

Traditional and new sponsors, award nominees and interested event attendees are invited to contact ASCLA at ascla@sclaa.com.au.
