Flour mill expansion in Ballarat
The Victorian Government has announced that George Weston Foods is investing another $92 million to expand its operations across Victoria.
The investment will expand the scope of the Mauri flour mill in Ballarat to include a warehouse and production facility.
The government announcement said that it is supporting this investment and also future upgrades throughout the George Weston Foods network in Victoria, including its Tip Top bakery operations.
The new mill under construction now is set to open later in 2026.
