Wright Flow Technologies Revolution CIP hybrid circumferential piston and lobe pump

Monday, 29 August, 2011 | Supplied by: Stevco Seals and Pumps Victoria Pty Ltd

The Wright Flow Technologies Revolution CIP (clean in place) hybrid circumferential piston and lobe pump features positive displacement technology for the sanitary and industrial markets. By merging the benefits of lobe and circumferential piston technologies into one platform, the pump delivers increased product yield, increased lifetime of components, reduced maintenance costs, with CIP cleanability and higher standards of hygiene.

When used to pump tomato pulp at 80/85°C, product damage is eliminated and the linear pumping results in a 50% reduction of steam consumption through the heat exchanger and in the tank. The pump can be easily cleaned through CIP, eliminating the need to strip clean.

The Revolution brings together the benefits of cleanability, improved volumetric efficiency and good solid handling into one platform. It features capacities to 190 m³/h, differential pressures to 31 bar, all seals are front replaceable for minimum downtime, a prefilled maintenance-free gearbox, a self-draining pump head to minimise product loss and the flexibility that allows the end user to choose the best rotor technology to fit the application.
