The ERS800-D16 is a slim, fanless, waterproof system based on iBase’s ECX800E-D16 single board computer.
The ERS800-D16 features a solid aluminium construction. It is a fanless system with an IP67 standard waterproof rating, which means that it is protected against the effects of total water immersion of up to 1 m within 30 minutes.
The system mainboard is the ECX800E-D16 which has an onboard L2400 Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with a speed of 1.66 GHz. It also supports up to 2 GB of DDR2 SODIMM memory, and 4 GB of CompactFlash solid-state storage. The rear-panel external I/O (via external cable) includes 1 x VGA, 2 x USB ports and 1 x gigabit LAN.
The chassis dimensions are slim and compact at only 200 x 67 x 273 mm and the system has an operating temperature of 0-45 °C with a storage temperature range of -20-80 °C, making it versatile enough to suit most applications where space is limited.
