Vertical motion arms
Hoffman has available the SYSPEND family of Vertical Motion Arms for human-machine interface (HMI) enclosures and devices.
SYSPEND vertical motion arms support up to 56 kg and feature field-adjustable counterbalances that allow users to set, and reset, the lifting force, accommodating weight changes due to load and equipment change outs by the customer.
Multiple features of Hoffman’s SYSPEND vertical motion arms are said to make them particularly effective and convenient to use:
- Deliver wall-, machine- and post-top-mounting accessories to meet versatile application requirements
- Allow enclosure and arm to be swivelled up to 330°, depending on the model, with swivel stops available in 30° increments; monitor and keyboard arm swivels 340° at the monitor end and 180° at the mounting end
- Provide machine operators with the ability to directly interface with both a machine and computer for increased productivity, responsiveness and ergonomics
- Reduce repetitive motion injuries and lessen worker back, neck and eye strain
