Flir has released its pocket-sized i5 model, full-function thermography camera aimed at the electrical contractor, mechanical and building trades.

Developed to service the demand for low-cost, high-performance thermal imaging cameras for commercial applications, it weighs 340 g.

The camera produces instant, point-and-shoot JPEG infrared imagery that carries all the required temperature data that can be stored internally or externally, sent and analysed.

The device measures temperatures up to +250°C and detects temperature differences down to 0.10°C, displayed on the camera’s 2.8" LCD. A long-life battery ensures up to 5 h of continuous operation.

It is supplied with QuickReport software for image analysis and easy creation of reports in PDF format, a 512 MB mini SD card, a Li-Ion rechargeable battery with charger, USB cable, hand strap and manuals and user CDS available in 21 languages.
