Straub pipe joints

Wednesday, 03 March, 2010 | Supplied by: KCES Pty Ltd

The Straub pipe coupling is an axial restraint but flexible pipe joint that compensates angular deflection and misalignment of pipes. It is easy to fit and re-usable.

The installation of a pipe joint is claimed to be fast, simple and reliable with the compact product being simply pushed over the pipe ends and tightened.

The couplings are suitable for use in the food processing industry for applications such as air-conveyance of grain and flour, and detergent and washing lines in breweries and dairies.

The pipe couplings can also be used on dehydration tunnels, for heating or cooling and in many other applications.

Straub was re-certified with an ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certificate in 2008.
