With the expandable bung/cam locking system, the Rack-it-Teer makes the wine racking process faster and uses less purging gas. It allows for the filling and emptying of 10 or more barrels to each bottle of purging gas used, assuming gas is used to fill or empty the wine barrel.
The expandable bung means that the system can be used for any sized barrel, while keeping oxygen infiltration to a minimum during the racking process.
A sight glass with a built in ‘hands-free’ torch holder works together with the adjustable wand length to monitor for clean wine, and retractable locking fingers stabilise the system during use, thereby reducing manpower during racking. The system’s cam lock allows for quick and easy bung expansion and release, while dual gas ports ensure easy connection and bleed off.
