Slow feeding volumetric pump

Friday, 03 July, 2009 | Supplied by: plus one percent

The Egretier Jean Michel low-strain volumetric pump is suitable for the transfer of pasty, fibrous and sensitive products.

The volumetric pump uses a feeding screw as a drive shaft and only works with two mobile parts, which are situated externally: a bilobe monorotor and sensitive flap. The latter is always in contact with the rotor due to the pressure from the product that is being fed into the machine.

The pump’s outer cover is fitted over the separate flap and the rotor using a rubber bushing, which can be easily removed if the pump has to be opened. The slowest rotation speed of the pump is 5-50 rotations/min.

The outlet diameter can be between 63 and 200 mm and the pump volume between 0.6 and 20 L. The working pressure lies between four and six bar. The volumetric feeding pump is completely made from stainless steel.
