Quadro have released their latest range, the Underdriven Comil. The Comil offers innovative technology for size reduction, deagglomeration, and dispersion of both wet and dry products. Quadro originated the conical screen mill concept and is widely used within the Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Process Industries. Typical applications include bulk density adjustment, scrap reclaim, delumping and size reduction.
The underdriven mill offers up to 50% more capacity than conventional top driven mills. The spacerless technology eliminates shims and spacers needed to optimize impeller/screen gap. The "U" model mills have extremely short head heights, which permit both in-line usage (such as on the discharge of blenders and mixers) or stand-alone.
The ultra sanitary design ensures ease of cleaning and minimal obstruction to product flows.
Special designs are available with CIP, SIP, WIP, auto clavable, vacuum design and pressure vessel design.
There are 4 models available U5, U10, U20 and U30 with throughputs up to 12,000 kg/hr.
