Erlenbacher, a specialist in frozen bakery products, has chosen an octagonal folding carton for one of its product lines to help it stand out from the crowd in the freezer.
Its premium brand was launched to complete the Nestlé subsidiary’s product range. The design was created by the STI Group. During the development process, the designers not only paid attention to creativity and shape but also ensured that the new form can be erected and filled with existing technology.
The octagonal folding carton emphasises the form of the round cake.
A high proportion of the colour white makes the product stand out in the freezer, while the black band with heat foil embossing emphasises its premium positioning.
The combination of UV and matt varnish and the embossed logo also creates an association with gift packaging in the minds of buyers.
