Shaft seals for problem sugar processes

Processors of products containing sugar know too well the problem of abrasive sugar heating up due to friction and caramelising on equipment shafts.

MECO custom shaft seals keep things cooler than packed glands by absorbing shaft runout and keeping product out of the seal cavity. Custom-fit to retrofit process equipment such as blenders, white pan mixers, conveyors, dryers, etc, MECO seals are available fully-split for installation without removal of drive or bearings.
