Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 7 Standard graphic terminal
Rockwell Automation has announced the release of the Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 7 Standard graphic terminal.
The terminals are available in five screen sizes, ranging from 4″ to 10″. Widescreen formats are available for the 4″ and 9″ screen options for enhanced visualisation.
Users can monitor data from anywhere on the plant floor using a tablet, smartphone or other mobile device and virtual network computing (VNC) connectivity also supports secure application monitoring on mobile devices from remote locations.
Machine builders can save projects to SD card, eliminating the process of configuring the same project for multiple machines. The software library of code includes faceplates and add-on instructions (AOI) for the operator interface to help save development time. This addition can reduce complex screen-development time by as much as 90%, according to the company.
Installation clamps support terminal installation and removal without the use of tools, reducing installation and maintenance time, and minimising the risk of overtightening and damaging the terminal during installation.
The terminals provide connectivity to one controller and up to 25 screens and 200 alarms along with ATEX Certification.
