Real-time PCR instrument

The BAX Q7 System from Dupont Qualicon, with real-time PCR uses DNA-based technology, as well as state-of-the-art probe-based chemistry, for accuracy and sensitivity. This reduces the time wasted confirming false positives, or even worse - recalling costly goods that were in fact fit for sale.

The system is also very simple to use and requires minimal training.

Being a real-time PCR instrument, it allows for both speciation and quantification for certain target organisms. It offers next day results for most tests without compromising the sensitivity or specificity of the result. This enables a fast turnaround time of results.

The real-time PCR system has AOAC, AFNOR and NORDVAL approvals.
