Motion Technologies programmable limit switch solution
By combining ELAP’s MEM absolute multi-turn rotary encoder with SSI output (1024 steps/motor turn) and the CM78 microprocessor digital display with SSI input, Motion Technologies has created a simple and easily programmable limit switch solution.
It is often very difficult to get repeatable end-of-stroke positioning for long stroke applications due to the mechanical resolution issues inherent in high-ratio rotary limit switches. Something that is operator friendly, safe and will not lose counts during power outages and emergency stops is required.
