Mechanical freezing and chilling

The Starfrost range of spiral, IQF and contact freezing systems is supplied in Australia and New Zealand by the Realcold Group.

The design of Starfrost's Three Zone Spiral system enables the mechanical, frost-tolerant system to operate for extended running times - up to seven days between defrosts. This feature minimises down time, boosts production and reduces running costs.

This Three Zone Spiral system recently won the Technological Development of the Year category at a UK food industry awards event.

The freezing and chilling equipment range available includes the Spiral Helix, Starlite Hybrid Tunnel, Turbo IQF and StarContact system.
