The Adept Technology Adept Quattro s650HS robot for high-speed food handling is USDA accepted for applications such as meat and poultry processing.

Adept Quattro lines are claimed to give producers and processors tools to increase production, reduce costs, meet stringent hygienic standards and reduce time to market.

The Adept Quattro s650HS is the industry’s only parallel robot with USDA acceptance for primary food handling. The Quattro is also available with a new fixed platform option providing enhanced flexibility for higher payload products.

The line is specifically designed for high-speed manufacturing, packaging, material handling and assembly applications. The Quattro differs from conventional parallel robots in that it features a four-arm kinematic. This design enables higher speeds, faster accelerations and high performance across the entire work envelope.

Powerful compact controls and embedded amplifiers make installation easy while reducing work-cell size and overall system footprint. The speed and precision of Quattro make it suitable for flexible packaging, material handling, kitting and assembly applications where performance is of paramount consideration.
