The Lafferty HVHC high-volume, high-concentrate foamer is a wall-mounted foam applicator for foam cleaning large areas and equipment, such as food plant processing floors.
Water flowing through its venturi draws the chemical concentrate into the water stream, giving strong dilution ratios of up to about 2.8 to 1 with no metering tip fitted. 20 colour coded metering tips set weaker ratios when the job allows. Compressed air is then injected to create a high volume of rich, clinging foam, which increases chemical contact time.
Water and air pressure gauges are fitted, and the foam can be adjusted from wet to dry. The fan nozzle projects foam up to about 460 cm, or up to about 760 cm with the zero degree nozzle.
The unit works with water pressure of 2.4 to 8.6 bar and water up to 71°C, with compressed air of up to 142 L/min. It mounts on a stainless steel bracket and has stainless steel check valves. It comes with a 1520 cm discharge hose, and a no-hose version is also available.
It is available in Australia from Brisbane supplier NORA PRO, which can match the seals to the user’s chemical requirements.
