Poultry processors worldwide are pushing their lines harder than ever. Higher speeds, larger birds and increasing volumes place growing pressure on inspection systems to keep up, without compromising food safety or product quality. To help processors meet this challenge, JBT Marel has introduced SensorX Xpress, an advanced X-ray image‑processing algorithm designed to deliver up to 20% higher inspection capacity while maintaining detection accuracy.

By enabling higher conveyor speeds, the software allows processors to increase output without adding equipment, labour or risk. Using Xpress software integrated, SensorX is able to inspect more products per hour while continuing to accurately detect residual bones and other hard contaminants. This capacity increase is designed to allow processors to fully utilise upstream equipment such as high-speed deboners, while keeping food safety standards intact and production running smoothly.

The upgrade is designed to deliver consistent inspection performance at the highest line speeds. At the same time, it remains simple to operate and maintain, with minimal need for operator intervention.

The improvements are designed to be compatible with earlier generations whenever possible.
