The Leuze stainless steel 53 and 55 sensor series have been developed for applications involving enhanced hygiene requirements and exposure to intensive cleaning and disinfection cycles. The sensor platform features a sensor housing made of high-grade stainless steel V4A (316L); a washdown design combined with IP69K and a raised temperature range and seal tightness.

The totally gapless hygienic design prevents bacterial migration and Ecolab and CleanProof+ certification ensure sensor resistance to widely used cleaning agents.
