Inline seal testing system

Friday, 30 October, 2009 | Supplied by: Mercer Technologies

Mercer InMotion has released the IntegriSeal inline seal testing system.

The system eliminates the risk of leaks and contamination by measuring air volume in each package and automatically removes those items from the production line that fail the test.

The vacuum and laser technology-based test is non-destructive so no product is lost or destroyed in the test procedure, even product in faulty or damaged packages can be repacked.

The Australian designed and manufactured IntegriSeal system is suitable for high-speed lines and can be used for pillow packs, blister packs, medical packs and most other types of flexible packages.

Its compact, modular design can be easily integrated into existing systems.
