Injector servo drives

All Fomaco injectors are now equipped with SP Unidrives and Exter operator panels.

Unidrive SP is equipped with a smart card which continuously stores all parameters in each drive. If a drive needs to be replaced, just move the smart card and the optional cards from the replaced drive to the new one. When the new drive is powered up, it will set all the parameters to the correct settings. No need for parameter lists and manual settings, it is all done in 2 min.

The Unidrive SP is equipped with an additional ethernet card, which makes it possible to connect a computer without special network adapters and cables if the machine needs a program update. All parameters and menus in the Unidrive are shown with clear text, in up to six different languages.

The Exter operator panel has program update with a CompactFlash card and direct connection to the Unidrive etc. It can also work as a web server, FTP server and has remote access. This means that all computers with a standard web browser can connect to the Fomaco injector and monitor the production in real time. It is also possible to edit the recipes, even when the injector is running.
