Immersion probes for colour measurements

Sunday, 01 June, 2008 | Supplied by: Hellma (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd

Hellma GmbH has available a wide range of fibre-optic immersion probes for online measurements of fluids, which include whisky, wine, spirits, fruit juices and other beverages/liquids.

The ultra-mini immersion probe has variable tips for measuring at different light paths. Process control probes are available for extreme conditions eg, high temperature or high pressure.

The attenuated total reflection probe is customised for solutions of high viscosity.

The NIR-reflection probe is designed for continuous measurement of scattering matter. Now, not only liquids can be measured online. The probe allows non-destructive measurement of solid samples such as powders or granules and the probe has also been used to check the quality of fruits.
