ifm efector T, R and C series full-metal inductive sensors

ifm has developed three series of full-metal sensors to meet different challenging requirements. The sensors can withstand a high temperature range up to 100°C, have a protection rating of IP69K and feature non-stick coating or a correction factor of K=0.

The sensing face of the full-metal sensor resists mechanical stress and is vibration and shock resistant. The non-coated stainless steel housing or non-stick coating contribute to the correct functioning of the full-metal sensors and a consistent sealing concept from the sensor to the connector provides protection against ingress of moisture.

The T series is completely sealed for hygienic and wet areas and is suitable for use in the food industry.

The R series is robust and resistant to mechanical stress and is suitable for metalworking and automotive applications.

The C series is resistant to oils and coolants and is suitable for use in the metalworking industry.
