Hygienic housing

Friday, 03 July, 2009 | Supplied by: Rittal Pty Ltd

Rittal has available its hygienic design housing series made of stainless steel with surfaces that allow easy cleaning.

None of the housings have any slots or external hinges where bacteria or other microorganisms could gather. Levelling feet were designed to conceal all threaded sections inside the housing on completion of installation.

Another standard feature is its roof, which is inclined forward by 30° and permits clear inspection. This also prevents items from being deposited on the surface.

Liquids remaining on the roof after cleaning by means of a steam jet, for instance, drain off again quickly. The cable inlet, too, meets the highest hygienic standards by also dispensing with exposed threads.

The range has a BG-PRÜFZERT approval symbol.
