Hydra-Cell pumps can handle recycled fluids with particles in suspension of up to 500 µm.
The Hydra-Cell pump has a comparatively short piston stroke and provides steady pressure to the gland area, keeping the seal free from contaminate. There are no packings, cups or seals to wear in the Hydra-Cells.
Hydra-Cell pumps are efficiency rated at 80-85% and usually require a much smaller driver (electric motor, hydraulic motor, stationary engine, PTO etc) than conventional type pumps. They are robust but compact, requiring much less space and, properly installed, require less maintenance time, with fluid end components being easy to replace from service kits available. Accessories include a range of pressure regulating valves, oil maintenance items, toolkits and pump/motor adapters for some models.
Other high-pressure applications include washdown of conveyor belts, dust suppression-fogging and tank washing.
