The Scorpion range of IEC metric stainless steel electric motors that are totally hose-proof and dust-proof (IP66) has been released. The motors can be quickly and easily cleaned and are not damaged by caustic cleaning solutions.
The motors feature a double lip oil seal with corrosion-proof gamma seal; 12 mm terminal gasket; sealing compound on end shields, and NTN blue seal bearings.
The rotor is varnished to prevent rust and there are four quadrant drain plugs and a condensation release drain plug.
For hygienic operation the motors have a smooth body for easy cleaning.
